Nathan Bugh: Nathan “Soft Shoe” Bugh presents a unique, rhythmic style of jazz movement on stage, on screen, and in classrooms worldwide. He has performed Lindy Hop at Carnegie Hall, with Josie Say and the New York Pops Orchestra. And he has performed in Harlems famous Apollo Theater, as part of the Frankie Manning centennial. He danced in David Tutera’s “Great Gatsby” wedding on the hit reality series “My Fair Wedding;” on FoxNC’s “Fox and Friends Christmas” with George Gee; and he exhibited Lindy Hop at the legendary dance mecca, Jacob’s Pillow, with Ramona Staffeld and the Vanaver Caravan. He has appeared in several music videos, including the Weepies and Be My Honey Pie. As a national competitor, Nathan has taken 1st place in Lindy, Slow Dancing, Solo Charleston, Team, Jill & Jack, and Cabaret divisions. He is one of the most eminent solo-jazz contestants in the world, having recently won both the Ultimate Lindy Hop Showdown (2012) and International Lindy Hop Championships (2014). He is based in New York, where he is the artistic director of Syncopated City Dance Company.
Gaby Cook: is a dancer, choreographer and show creator living in New York. She specializes in dances of the 1920’s, 30’s and 40’s including Lindy Hop, Balboa, Shag and Charleston. She performs solo; with her partner Nathan Bugh; and with her dance company ‘Gaby Galore & her Sugar Shakers’.
